Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating and/or performing laboratory testing of soil, rock, and concrete materials; conducting and/or assisting in the inspection of field offices, testing laboratories, equipment, and personnel; creating documents such as field logs, lab result data, trip reports and analytical recommendations; and/or providing trianing to office staff in regards to testing techniques and processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
